and cooling system couplings. Its design characteristics provide
values for leakage, spillage and air inclusion which are far lower
than both commercial and military standards.
Eliminates leakage and spillage
Leakage is the loss of media over a period of time, expressed as
drops or cc's-per-minute. Leakage is frequently caused by imperfect
seating of a coupling or failure of an internal seal. Spillage
is a one-time volumetric loss of media and is caused when media
is trapped in voids in the coupling and then ejected upon final
disconnection.
